Prevention 101 is a 2-part training which provides a catalyst for understanding how primary prevention of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs (ATOD) is defined and implemented in Pennsylvania

Upon the completion of the program the participants should be able to:
Provide an overview of prevention and its evolution.
Discuss the skills, competencies, and data driven decision making to understanding the Spectrum of Prevention and the basics of the Strategic Prevention Framework Model.
Expands on the basics provided in Part 1 of the course by guiding participants
Analyze the Strategic Prevention Framework and applying it to a case study in the field.
Will include practice of skills through a fictitious case study.
